iSun announces its selection as solar project provider in Jackson

iSun, Inc., a construction engineering company, has recently been selected to offer innovative solar products & services. This selection is regarding the expansion of phase one of the largest solar plus storage microgrid projects in the nation currently in progress in Jackson, Tennessee, which is led by Northern Reliability.

Phase one of this multi-phase solar project is a vision of the CDE (Community Development Enterprises), developed with an aim to deliver green energy solutions as well as economic relief in the United States. As per the terms of the agreement, iSun will be in charge of providing EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) services for the 16-MW of ground-mounted solar energy infrastructure. The contract is estimated to be valued at $25 million, with installations to begin in late summer 2021.

According to iSun’s Chief Executive Officer & Chairman, Jeffrey Peck, the recent selection of the company as the solar portion provider is a testament to its established position as an excellent EPC partner in the solar energy industry. Its team of experts will be capable of engaging in all stages of the project with its EPC expertise and innovation recommendations.
