Tricor Group (Tricor) has reportedly signed an agreement to acquire Alphalink, which is majorly owned by RSM Hong Kong partners. Alphalink deals with the provision of numerous corporate services, catering to international ventures in Greater China and handling outbound businesses plus investments for Chinese companies. As per sources familiar with the knowledge of the matter, Group CEO of Tricor, Lennard Yong was reportedly stated that with this partnership, Tricor will have the opportunity to enhance its position in Mainland China, which would be pivotal to the company’s growth strategy in the market. For the record, Tricor is Asia’s leading provider of human resource, payroll, corporate trust, investor and debt services. Alphalink, with a team of 60 experienced professionals and a strong network over Mainland China is supposedly going to help Tricor target Mainland China clients, lending support to their international expansion goals. With the materialization of this deal, Alphalink’s position in the market is also expected to get more powerful. Wong Poh Weng, Chairman of RSM Asia Pacific was reportedly quoted stating that the company is rather thrilled with the potential growth opportunities that Alphalink will gain access to, with the support of Tricor’s powerful platform in Asia. Wong Poh Weng further added that with the help of Tricor, the company plans to expand their business in Asia and from Asia to abroad, lending support to clients investing in the Asian zone. For the uninitiated, Alphalink has its presence in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. On the other hand, there are 47 cities under Tricor’s global network spanning 21 markets. Also, Tricor boasts of a strong presence in 13 of these markets in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
